That looks great! Much more "scale" looking with that scheme.

Nice Job!

Sh*tcan Speedster

At the June meeting, I rescued an odd little broken airframe from the trash can. For some reason, I was motivated to get this thing back in the air as it just seemed sad to see it in the trash. It had previously been set up for glow- most likely a .10 or so with standard servos! This must have been a tank when set up for glow as it's heavy enough set up electric. When finished, this plane weighs in at 15.5oz with out battery and has a wingspan of 31". It has a very interesting design with an aggressive semi-symmetrical airfoil and a rather sharp leading edge. I got a maiden flight in this morning with great results although the motor I had on was a little underpowered. I've changed to a bigger motor and it's gained about 30g (pictured). I'll fly again soon- it should be pretty fast now. I named her the "Sh*tcan Speedster".Resurrected.

Nice Kenny!

Great looking planes and projects- Can't wait to see all of them fly when it stops raining...

bipeto,

Thanks for letting us know and for working with the AMA on this. We'll get it done either way- I look forward to it.

Recent build- slope soarer!

May 18, 2009 by electrogue

Don't know why it took me so long to come to the realization that when it's too windy to fly at the field, it might be perfect to soar. So, I built a Dream Flight "Weasel" and it's a great little slope plane! Check it out:
